The Select Committee are accepting nominations for players to represent the Perthshire Amateur Football Association in their upcoming challenge tie against the Midlands Amateur FA.

Waste management company Binn Skips is in a league of its own after becoming the first ever main sponsor of Perthshire Amateur Football Association.
The Glenfarg-based family business has agreed a package which will help secure the future of the 83-year-old football organisation – and ensure their association team turns out in style.
PAFA President Jim Thomson explained that the sponsorship deal would allow member clubs across Perthshire to sustain and bolster membership and help cover ever-increasing administration costs.
“We’re delighted to have Binn Skips on board as our first ever major sponsor,” explained Mr Thomson. “It is a well known family business operating across the whole of Perthshire and a familiar name to all our players. “The Binn Skips name will now be associated with every aspect of the PAFA including the three leagues and seven cups and we hope this is just the start of a long and happy relationship.”
Allan MacGregor, managing director of Binn Skips, explained that they were happy to support a long-established organisation that played such a key role in the sporting community throughout the whole of Perthshire. “Binn Skips has always been very supportive of sport within our local community,” he said. “As an amateur association the PAFA has very limited funding and we are only too pleased to be their key sponsor for the coming season. We wish them every success both on and off the pitch.”
Referee Fees have been set for season 2011-12
@ £30.00 per game
20p per mile travel expenses
with a cap set @ a maximum of £50.00
Fees to be equally shared by both clubs, but responsibility for timely payment is with the Home team.
This will bring the PAFA in line with SAFA
The Scottish Amateur Football Association is pleased to announce that, at the Special General Meeting of the 9th November 2012, the membership of the S.A.F.A. agreed to adopt a Standard Constitution, across all Leagues/Associations, for Season 2013/14 and beyond. The Standard Constitution document can be viewed or downloaded under the Club Resources/ Club Documents and Downloads section of this website.
In addition, Leagues/Associations will be invited to submit "Local Rules" for approval by the Executive of the Scottish Amateur Football Association.
We have been advised by the SFA that funding has been made available to provide clubs affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association
with fully funded places on the above two day course.
Many of our clubs currently have a member who retains this qualification and I would remind you that existing certificates are now valid for three years rather than the two years which was originally issued.
Places are limited so I would ask that your clubs respond as quickly as possible and we will co-ordinate the courses to take place at a suitable geographical location depending on the response.
The course is a two day course which takes place on a Saturday and a Sunday - the two days can now be split over a 4 week period for the convenience of the student.
As the places are limited, any unfulfilled bookings will be charged to the club at the standard rate of £95.00. I would urge as many clubs as possible to take up this offer. This type of qualification is a prerequisite of membership of the Association and this presents a great opportunity to obtain this expert training without cost to the clubs themselves.

Personal Accident Insurance Claims
The Executive and Finance Committee of the SAFA agreed at their meeting on 4th September 2011 to advise that Sportsguard had intimated that the company will strictly implement the terms of the Personal Accident Insurance Policy as follows:-
All potential claims must be reported to Sportsguard within 30 days of the incident. Claim forms can be obtained from Sportsguard by telephone 01604 644277 or by e-mail on email@example.com
All documentation requested by Sportsguard in relation to the claim must be returned to the company within 60 days from when the claim was reported.
It is important to note that if these conditions are not adhered to the claim will be declined therefore I would be grateful if you would ensure that your member clubs are fully aware of this and the conditions referred to.
